The proposed project involves the construction of a school compound in the village of Naameh, Chouf, Mount Lebanon. The project consists of three building blocks that include classrooms, offices, laboratories, utility rooms, in addition to several open spaces that include playgrounds, sports fields, green areas, parking spots and internal access roads.

Spread over an area of 12,172 sqm, the campus will be situated in Doha area, an attractive coastal location 500 meters away from Beirut-Saida Highway. The project aims to provide a decent level of education for the local community, using modern methods and teaching strategies.

ELBACHA was retained by the German International School Beirut/Deutsche Internationale Schule Beirut (DISB) to conduct the required Initial Environmental Examination.

Completion of an Initial Environmental Examination for the project, structured to meet the requirements set in Annex 6 of decree 8633 dated 7/7/2012 (Environmental Impact Assessment Fundamentals) and decision no. 260/1 dated 12/6/2015 (Procedure for the review of IEE reports), aiming at implementing the environmental management plan to decrease its impacts and abate pollution.
