The proposed project involves the construction of a residential compound in the village of Abbasiyeh, Tyr, South Lebanon. The project consists of 15 building blocks spread over an area of 14,400 sqm, and is located in an attractive coastal location 5 minutes from Tyr-Saida Seaside road. The project aims to provide housing opportunities for around 40 families in a calmer surrounding compared to the big cities.

ELBACHA was retained by Mr Abbas Hammoud to conduct the required Initial Environmental Examination.

Completion of an Initial Environmental Examination for the project, structured to meet the requirements set in Annex 6 of decree 8633 dated 7/7/2012 (Environmental Impact Assessment Fundamentals) and decision no. 260/1 dated 12/6/2015 (Procedure for the review of IEE reports), aiming at implementing the environmental management plan to decrease its impacts and abate pollution.
