The project is a class I Farm will be built in El-Meri, Hasbaya, Nabatiyeh. The purpose of the owner (Mr. Yussef Hussein Fayad) was to meet the increasing demand of the local market for poultry products. Dawwar Sayfeddine Poultry Farm consists of an administrative building, a hangar where the poultry are housed and fed and a Storage silo for the feed.

ELBACHA LLC was retained by  Mr. Fayad to conduct an Initial Environmental Examination of his Category 1 Poultry Farm. The aim was to identify and assess possible environmental and social impacts that might accrue from the Project and at proposing mitigation measures to minimize the significance of negative impacts and maximize the benefits of positive ones.

Performed Assignment:

Completion of  the study that helped decision-making to ensure  that the environmental hazards and effects of the Project were identified and evaluated prior to its commencement, and that appropriate mitigation measures are identified.
