The proposed project involves the construction of a petrol station in the village of Ghazieh, Saida, South Lebanon. The project will feature two bases for gasoline and diesel dispensing, vehicle wash/oil exchange services, tire repair store, car accessories shop and an aisle.

Spread over an area of 2000 sqm, the station is located in an attractive coastal location adjacent to Saida-Tyr Highway. The project aims to promote a sustainable modern gas station that adopts enforced policies on safety and product quality, among other environmental measures and standards.

ELBACHA was retained by Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association to conduct the required Initial Environmental Examination.

Completion of an Initial Environmental Examination for the project, structured to meet the requirements set in Annex 6 of decree 8633 dated 7/7/2012 (Environmental Impact Assessment Fundamentals) and decision no. 260/1 dated 12/6/2015 (Procedure for the review of IEE reports), aiming at implementing the environmental management plan to decrease its impacts and abate pollution.
